Comments I am happy that these kind of initiatives are gaining momentum in the UK. Recently I came across another such sustainable and practical solution which stresses on the long distance carpooling concept e.g people who make regular trips by car from London and the North-West (like me!!). This site Blablacar is very well done as well, and I have started using it, as I travel regularly between London and Machester by car. It helps keep my running costs low, at the same time I am saving on CO2 emissions and meeting new people which is great!
