People in Bars

General

Here’s a problem.

The most interesting people are the ones with interesting thoughts. Those thoughts probably keep them entertained, and so they don’t chat as much to strangers in bars. Which means that the majority* of people who DO talk with strangers in bars are the ones who bore easily.

* because even smart people seek fresh stimulation

Clearly I’ve just spent minutes of my life talking with someone who I didn’t want to speak with in a bar, who had no chat at all, but I had to continue the conversation with for form’s sake. Thank heavens for being able to make the excuse of having to work.
