The challenge of staying positive

General

Here’s Stevie Wonder on the tremendous challenge of articulating a succinct and positive vision. Jump to 2m21.

Epic fail. Waaaay too much to say and too little time to say it. Did you hear that bit at 2m46?! Neither did I.

Anyway this morning someone said, “I don’t know how you stay so positive.”

Here’s what I replied.

09:43 because I have a clear coherent vision to work towards.
09:44 I know that every single day we wake up and we co-create the world based on stories we told each other and ourselves yesterday.
09:45 That all it takes to change that - the only thing it takes - is to create a story so compelling, so clear and credible that it sweeps the world
09:45 (And sometimes I just get pissed off and mope and want to kill people.)

I’m writing that here to remind myself of it next time I’m forlorn and pissed-off at some myopic moronic action taken by someone who really should know better.
